Cristiano Ronaldo could be on the brink of making football history once again — only this time alongside his son Cristiano Ronaldo Jr.
Reports emerging from Saudi Arabia suggest that Al Nassr are seriously considering promoting 15-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo Jr to the senior team next season in a move that could see the iconic father-son duo share the pitch.
The teenager has been turning heads within the club’s youth ranks, with his rapid development prompting discussions about a shock elevation to the first-team setup.
Having already been nurtured in elite academies at clubs like Real Madrid, Juventus, and Manchester United, Ronaldo Jr’s progression has been closely monitored for years.
At just 15, such a move would signal enormous belief in his ability to bridge the gap between youth and senior football — particularly in the demanding environment of the Saudi Pro League.
For Ronaldo Sr, now 41 and still the face of Al Nassr’s project, the possibility carries emotional weight. The five-time Ballon d’Or winner has long expressed his desire to play alongside his son.
And that dream could soon become reality as he continues his pursuit of the 1000-goal milestone.
Ronaldo Jr’s numbers only add fuel to the hype. The young forward has showcased a ruthless eye for goal, having previously netted 58 goals in 23 matches at youth level with Juventus.
He has continued that form in Saudi Arabia with an impressive 56 goals in 27 appearances for Al Nassr’s U-15 side.
Despite the excitement, stepping into senior football would mark a significant leap, with the physical and tactical demands far greater than youth competition. Club officials are expected to assess his readiness at the end of the current campaign before making a final call.
If approved, the Ronaldos would join a rare group of father-son duos to play together professionally — adding yet another remarkable chapter to an already legendary career.
