ANC’s Thanduxolo Sabelo Declares Party ‘In Better Shape Than 2024’ Following eThekwini Regional Election Performance
Former African National Congress Youth Leader (ANCYL) Thanduxolo Sabela of the African National Congress (ANC) in eThekwini has lauded the party’s latest performance in the eThekwini Region, stating that it exceeded expectations despite narrative pressures.
Sabela urged citizens to remember the party’s recent political trajectory, pointing out that the ANC was rebounding from a previous low of 14% while facing grim projections that had initially pinned their support at just 8%.
He further noted that several rival political parties, which were widely projected to secure over 50% of the vote, failed to meet those benchmarks and are instead on a downward trend.
Reflecting on the party’s current standing and resilience in the region, Sabelo confidently stated, “The ANC is in a better shape than it was in 2024.”
