PROVINCIAL COMMISSIONER OF LIMPOPO VISITS SURVIVORS OF FATAL ROAD ACCIDENT
WATERBERG: The Provincial Commissioner of Police in Limpopo, Lieutenant General Jan Scheepers, took time out of his busy schedule to visit the survivors of a tragic road accident that claimed the life of an unidentified motorist.
Ten SAPS employees from various stations and units in the Waterberg District survived the crash while returning from winter sporting activities in Polokwane. The accident occurred when a sedan veered out of its lane and collided head-on with a minibus carrying the ten members, resulting in multiple injuries. The deceased motorist remains unidentified at this stage.
Lieutenant General Scheepers who visited the accident scene on Friday, 28 August 2028, later expressed relief upon seeing the survivors receiving medical care today. He wished them a speedy recovery, stating:
“I wish you well in your journey of recovery and hope to meet you next year during our winter sporting activities. We remain hopeful that after your full recovery, you will continue to serve this organization and help reset the agenda.”
