Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Mayorkun returns with his highly anticipated new single, “Home Training,” available worldwide today, 30 October 2026, alongside its official music video.

The release also marks the launch of the pre-order and pre-save campaign for his forthcoming EP, Long Live The Mayor!, set for release at the end of November 2026.

The official music video for “Home Training” premieres today at 13:00 SAST (12:00 WAT).

Following the success of “Kaluba,” Mayorkun’s latest offering explores the playful and unpredictable side of love, celebrating the freedom that comes with being with someone who brings out a different version of you.

The track captures the joy of living in the moment, embracing spontaneity, and creating your own rules with someone special.

“Home Training is about that kind of love that brings out a different side of you,” says Mayorkun. “Sometimes, love is about knowing when to behave and when to leave all that home training at the door.”

The single arrives on the heels of the continued success of “Kaluba,” which has amassed approximately 3 million streams across platforms in just over eight weeks and secured a place in the Top 100 on Spotify Nigeria.

This release also coincides with a significant milestone in Mayorkun’s journey, as he celebrates 10 years in music.

The achievement marks a decade since the release of his breakthrough 2016 hit, “Eleko,” a record that introduced him to audiences across Africa and beyond. As he reflects on this landmark moment, Mayorkun continues to connect with fans through new music, media appearances, and exciting creative ventures, while gearing up for the next chapter of his career.

“Home Training” is officially out now.

Fans can also pre-order and pre-save Long Live The Mayor!.
