Step Into the Future: KONKA Unveils Immersive ‘KONKAWORLD’ for an Unforgettable New Year’s Day 2027

South Africa is about to step beyond reality this New Year’s Day as the iconic lifestyle brand KONKA officially unveils KONKAWORLD—an unprecedented, immersive experience marking its five-year anniversary.

In partnership with luxury giants Hennessy and Moët & Chandon, the landmark event will take over Sandringham Farm in Stellenbosch on 1 January 2027, blending premium lifestyle, fashion, culture, and music into a highly anticipated, multi-sensory universe.

More than just a party, KONKAWORLD represents the evolution of a brand that has deeply shaped South African entertainment and luxury culture over the past half-decade.

“KONKAWORLD is about creating an experience that people don’t simply attend—it’s something they enter, discover and remember,” explains Basil Segabutle, CFO of KONKA Group.

“We wanted to create a world that feels bigger than a single event; a place where music, culture, fashion and creativity come together in a completely unexpected way.

As we celebrate five years of KONKA, this is an opportunity to honour our journey while creating something truly special for the people who have been part of it.”

The core of KONKAWORLD lies in its distinct, transportive visual universe.

Designed to blur the lines between imagination and reality, the venue will be populated by unexpected characters, striking visual installations, and hidden details that unfold from day to night.

At the center of this new reality are four iconic symbols, each guiding guests through a unique chapter of the KONKAWORLD journey:The Striking Flamingo, The Pink Cadillac, The Castle and The Moon.

To elevate the milestone celebration, KONKA has aligned with two of the most prestigious names in craftsmanship and sophistication: Hennessy and Moët & Chandon.

Hennessy brings its rich heritage of exceptional cognac craftsmanship, while Moët & Chandon adds its timeless legacy of champagne celebration. Together, these partnerships ensure that welcoming 2027 will be defined by world-class hospitality and premium luxury.

For those ready to experience New Year’s Day differently, the journey begins this November.
