Mayonie Open Air adds L’vovo Derrango to Durban artist lineup
Mayonie Open Air is set to ignite Durban!
With only a few days left before this highly anticipated event makes its debut in KwaZulu-Natal, L’vovo Derrango has been officially added to the star-studded lineup.
The event will take place on 29 August 2026 at Chris Saunders Park, Umhlanga, running from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
It is expected to be one of the biggest dance music spectacles in Durban this year, bringing together well-known and leading artists in the Afrohouse and Afrotech genres.
L’vovo Derrango will join a powerhouse of previously announced artists, including DJ Kent, Bucie, and NaakMusiQ, alongside other prominent figures in the industry.

The founder of the event, Zakes Bantwini, stated that bringing Mayonie Open Air to Durban is a significant milestone, given the city’s rich musical history in South Africa.
