Limpopo SAPS joint operation with two private security companies arrested five illegal Mozambican nationals aged between 29 and 42 at Greenside, Extension 71 and 78 outside Polokwane on Wednesday ( 29 April 2026)
The suspects are positively linked with 22 cases of motor vehicle theft committed between December 2024 and April 2026.
Provincial police spokesperson Colonel Malesela Ledwaba says Operational teams stormed their premises and recovered a Toyota Corolla, and Toyota Tazz reportedly stolen in Seshego early this year.
” Inside the houses, we recovered a stolen generator and assortment of breaking tools,” said Provincial Spokesperson
The suspects are facing charges of motor vehicle theft, possession of suspected stolen goods, and Contravention of the Immigration Act
They are scheduled to appear before Seshego and Polokwane Magistrate courts on Thursday, 30 April 2026.
