Plano, TX — On Thursday, May 1, 2025, faith leaders, intercessors, and purpose-driven
influencers from around the globe came together in a powerful show of unity, faith, and prayer for a life-changing National Day of Prayer event.
The prayer movement launched at 5:00 AM
CST on the Clubhouse app for a one-hour prayer time, and then at 6:00 AM CST, it was
streamed live on over 50 multiple pages, igniting a fire that spread across time zones, nations,
and digital platforms.
Hosted by Dr. Shirley Clark (North Texas Regional Coordinator for the NDP), this monumental virtual gathering drew over 3,000 livestream viewers, making it one of the most impactful and spirit-filled National Day of Prayer celebrations to date.
This year’s theme was Pour Out to the
God of Hope and Be Filled, taken from Romans 15:13, “Now may the God of hope fill you with
all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
With the help and dedication of a powerhouse lineup of global and community leaders, each
leader was assigned a focus area critical to the healing and restoration of our world based on
their personal involvement: Family, Church, Education, Government, Media, Military, and
Business.
Prayer Leaders and Assignments:
• Government/Military – Judge Dianne Jones, Commissioner Dr. Evelyn Hill and Activist,
Allan Parker
• Business – Dennis Head, Elanie Head and Melanie Bonita
• Church – Apostle Cindy Hoskins, Dr. Rodney Dennis and Dr. Cassandra Scott
• Family — Dr. Patricia Morgan, Abena Cabbil and Krystal Henry
• Media – Dr. Teresa Hairston, Timothy Johnson and Major Daughter
• Education – Dr. Linda Morable and Dr. Ivy Anderson
Each leader brought a fresh prophetic wind, and the energy and unity felt throughout the
virtual space reaffirmed the importance of intercession in this generation. The overwhelming
success of this year’s event has ignited plans for continued strategic intercession and
collaboration among leaders across denominations and continents for our 2026 event.
