He is currently being held at the Mdantsane police station and is expected to appear in court on Monday.
This latest development follows weeks after Omotoso was acquitted of several serious charges, including rape, human trafficking, and sexual assault. Along with two co-accused, Lusanda Sulani and Zikiswa Sitho, he had faced 32 charges ranging from racketeering to abuse.
Omotoso, known by followers as “the man of God,” led the Jesus Dominion International (JDI) church, where the alleged offenses were said to have occurred. His legal battles have spanned nearly eight years.
