Ncikazi Refuses to Discuss Orlando Pirates Exit, Says, “Every House Has a Toilet”

Golden Arrows coach Mandla Ncikazi has declined to speak about his relationship with Orlando Pirates and their coach Abdeslam Ouaddou, delivering a firm message during a post-match press conference on Tuesday night.

Asked about his time at Pirates and any issues with the club’s leadership, Ncikazi responded with a clear boundary.

“You don’t talk ill about your former employer because you offend them,” he said.

“Equally the same, when I start talking about my former employer, I’m offending my current employer.”

He then used a memorable analogy to shut down further questions.

“Every house has got a toilet. As a man, you don’t have a responsibility of telling every family that there are challenges in your family. Even if there was a problem, you are not going to know.”

Ncikazi stressed that as a coach he sees himself as the “CEO of the company” and has a duty to protect every environment he works in.

“In every club that I’ve worked for, there are issues, but I don’t have a responsibility to publicly tell,” he added.

“I’ve got no comment. Just for future purposes, I don’t answer such questions because I respect the environment.”

The comments come after Ncikazi’s recent return to Golden Arrows, following his previous role as assistant coach at Orlando Pirates.

There were reports that suggested that he had a fallout with Ouaddou, who then demanded that Ncikazi be released, or else he (Ouaddou) would leave.

But Ncikazi’s measured response is expected to fuel further speculation among Pirates supporters about the circumstances surrounding his departure from the Soweto club.
