Kwaito Legend L’vovo Derrango Lands New Reality Show ‘Life with L’vovo’ on Mzansi Magic
South African Kwaito icon Thokozani “L’Vovo Derrango” Ndlovu is set to make his grand return to television screens with a brand-new reality show titled Life with L’Vovo.
The highly anticipated series is scheduled to premiere on 26 November 2026, officially taking over the coveted 20:00 prime-time slot on Mzansi Magic.
The show will replace the popular polygamist family spin-off, Izingane Zesthembu, following the conclusion of its dramatic fourth season.
While specific details regarding the format and the supporting cast members remain tightly under wraps, the show’s title promises to give viewers an exclusive, unfiltered look into both the personal and professional life of the legendary musician.
The reality series marks a powerful new chapter for L’Vovo.
The star has spent the last few years on a grueling road to recovery after surviving a near-fatal stroke in December 2022, which temporarily forced him away from the music scene to relearn how to walk and talk.
After breaking his silence earlier this year and returning to live stages, Life with L’Vovo is expected to showcase his resilience, his family dynamics, his music ventures, and his latest advocate work in health and mental wellness.
Taking over the 8:00 PM slot means Mzansi Magic is placing massive confidence in the Kwaito star to maintain the high-viewership numbers left behind by Izingane Zesthembu.
Social media has already ignited with buzz following the announcement, with fans expressing immense excitement to see the Bayasaba hitmaker back on their screens in full form.
Catch the premiere of Life with L’Vovo on Mzansi Magic (DStv Channel 161) on Thursday, 26 November 2026, at 20:00.
