Four Arrested with Murdered Kempton Park Runner’s Belongings

Police have arrested four suspects, including a foreign national, after they were found in possession of property belonging to the late Elizabeth ‘Tsontso’ Moselakgomo, whose recent murder sparked widespread outrage over gender-based violence.

Moselakgomo (38) went missing on 9 September 2026 after leaving her home for a routine jog.

Her body was tragically discovered days later in Rhodesfield, Kempton Park, making her one of several women found murdered in the Ekurhuleni area over recent months.

According to preliminary reports, the four suspects were cornered by law enforcement and found with items directly linking them to the deceased runner.

While multiple individuals have been taken into custody, sources close to the investigation indicate that only one suspect is currently expected to face a formal charge of possession of suspected stolen property.

The precise involvement of the other three individuals remains under investigation.

Authorities are expected to clarify the exact charges and provide a comprehensive update as the suspects make their first appearance in court today.
