N1 KRANSKOP ACCIDENT SCENE CLEARED, SOUTHBOUND TRAFFIC RESUMES
Waterberg District: Motorists travelling along the N1 near Kranskop can now breathe a sigh of relief after the accident scene involving multiple vehicles was cleared and the N1 South reopened to traffic.
The road was temporarily closed following a multiple-vehicle collision involving four vehicles between High Accident and the Modimolle off-ramp.
Traffic officers remain at the scene to regulate traffic flow as congestion persists along the N1. The R101 is also experiencing heavy traffic volumes.
Motorists are urged to exercise patience, reduce their speed, drive cautiously and adhere to instructions from traffic officers.
Authorities have appealed to road users to remain alert and allow traffic to normalise as vehicles continue to move through the affected routes.
