Springboks Beat All Blacks 29-24 To Take 2-1 Series Lead

The Springboks edged the All Blacks 29-24 at FNB Stadium in Soweto today, Saturday to take a 2-1 lead in the four-Test Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry series.

New Zealand led early, with captain Ardie Savea scoring twice before leaving the field with a shoulder injury. South Africa responded with tries from Kurt-Lee Arendse, Jesse Kriel, and Malcolm Marx, as well as a penalty try.

The All Blacks scored a fourth try through Samisoni Taukei’aho late in the match, but it was not enough to deny the Springboks. Both sides scored four tries.
