Orlando Pirates: Ouaddou Delighted as Sebastian Pedersen Finally Arrives
The wait is finally over for Orlando Pirates and their supporters, with new striker Sebastian Pedersen arriving in South Africa and beginning his integration into Abdeslam Ouaddou’s squad.
The 27 year old Norwegian watched from the stands at Orlando Stadium on Saturday as Pirates secured a dramatic 2-1 victory over 10-man Durban City, with Ghampani Lungu scoring a late extra-time winner.
Pedersen’s arrival has added another attacking option for Ouaddou at a time when Pirates are still searching for greater consistency in front of goal.
The Norwegian joined the Buccaneers from Sogndal IF and was initially part of the club’s pre-season tour in Spain. He subsequently returned to Norway before travelling to South Africa this week.
