‘I Can Pray’ Rally to Bring Hundreds Together for Two Days of Prayer in Santa Fe

SANTA FE, NEW MEXICO – A nationwide prayer movement is set to gather Christians from across New Mexico and beyond as The American Prayer Party (TAPP) hosts its “I Can Pray” Prayer Rally in Santa Fe from 31 July to 1 August 2026.
Organisers say the two-day event will bring together pastors, ministry leaders, intercessors, business leaders, families and believers from different Christian traditions for a programme focused on prayer, worship, biblical teaching and spiritual encouragement.
The rally comes as faith-based organisations across the United States continue to host community gatherings aimed at promoting prayer, unity and engagement on social and spiritual issues.
Two-day gathering focused on prayer and unity
The event will be held at Fruit of the Spirit Ministries, located at 3382 Lopez Lane, Santa Fe, New Mexico, and is expected to feature corporate prayer sessions, worship services and ministry focused on encouraging Christians to pray for their communities and the nation.
According to organisers, participants will pray for a range of sectors, including families, churches, businesses, education, media, government, and the arts and entertainment industry.
The programme will also include biblical teaching and what organisers describe as prophetic ministry, while encouraging believers from different denominations to worship and pray together.
National prayer movement continues to expand
The Santa Fe gathering forms part of The American Prayer Party’s broader “I Can Pray” initiative, a campaign designed to mobilise Christians across the United States through city-based prayer rallies and leadership development.
The organisation was founded by Pastors Tomm and Brenda Todd, who say the movement seeks to equip believers to become positive influences within their homes, churches, workplaces and communities.
Organisers describe the initiative as a grassroots effort intended to encourage greater participation in prayer while strengthening relationships between churches and local communities.

Dr Shirley K. Clark, Chief Operations Officer of The American Prayer Party, said the organisation believes collective prayer can have a positive impact on communities.
“We believe America is strengthened when God’s people pray together. Our mission is to inspire believers to move from spectators to participants, becoming ambassadors of hope through the power of prayer.”
The organisation says its long-term vision is to build unity among churches while encouraging Christians to become actively involved in prayer initiatives throughout the country.
