Honeydew Police Seize Suspected R300 Million Cocaine Haul In Northriding

Honeydew police have seized a suspected cocaine consignment with an estimated street value of R300 million during an intelligence-driven operation at a plot in Northriding, Johannesburg.

Police raided the property at about 20:30 on Saturday, 12 September 2026, following information about suspected drug-related activities at the premises.

The suspected cocaine was found on the property. Police also seized a black Land Cruiser SUV, which allegedly had false registration plates and an altered vehicle identification number (VIN).

No arrests have been made.

Detectives are investigating the origin of the drugs and are working to establish who was behind the suspected consignment and the vehicle.

Police have urged members of the public to report suspected criminal activity to Crime Stop on 08600 10111 or anonymously through the MySAPS app.

The investigation is ongoing.
