Comedian Celeste Ntuli Parts Ways with Vuma 103 FM Just Months After Joining Drive Show
Award-winning comedian and actress Celeste Ntuli has announced her sudden departure from Vuma 103 FM, bringing a swift end to her short-lived stint as the co-host of the station’s weekday afternoon drive show.
Ntuli, widely known as the “Queen of Zulu Comedy”, officially joined the KwaZulu-Natal-based commercial radio station in June 2026.
Her high-profile appointment was part of a major programming shake-up aimed at revitalising the station’s lineup.
She stepped into the afternoon slot alongside Carol Hobbs and Big Mike to spearhead the VumaFM Drive show.
Her unexpected exit comes just over three months after she made her vibrant on-air debut.
While at the helm, the dynamic team was praised for bringing fresh energy and highly relatable local conversations to KZN listeners.
While the exact reasons behind her rapid departure remain under wraps, Ntuli is currently juggling a demanding schedule.
Aside from her stand-up comedy commitments, she is heavily involved in television, notably securing a starring role in the Netflix upcoming series The Polygamist.
Vuma FM has already adjusted its programming to fill the void left by the star presenter.
Radio personality Mankini Mgenge has recently stepped in to anchor the drive show alongside Carol Hobbs while the station finalises its permanent lineup.
