Afrotainment boss Dj Tira and newly signed artist Mbali Ngidi celebrated their Valentine’s Day in style.
The two Nguye Yedwa singers visited with workers Osindisweni Hospital in Verulam outside Durban in KwaZulu Natal (KZN) on Friday.

Tira and Mbali were accompanied by legendary radio presenter Linda Sibiya, Afrotainmant artists Duncan, Qwabe Twins, Mgilano and Uzalo actor Thu Sheleni.

Speaking to Mdn News after the event, Mbali said the visits to the hospital was to show love to the workers for the hard work they do for the people of Osindisweni.

“The aim of this initiative was to give back to my community. To show some.love to the people who have supported me from day one. Without them, there will be no Mbali Ngidi. I decided to partner with Malume (Dj Tira) because he is like my brother, my father, my uncle who is mentoring me in the music industry,” she said.

Mbali said that being in Osindisweni reminded her of her late mother who used to work in the same hospital.
“This hospital is very close to my heart and very special. I have good mwmories about it, my mother worked here for years and everything that we have become today is because of this hospital. So Valentines Day is not only for lovers but it is tue day to show love. It is the day which is meant for us to show love amongst each other. It is about the love that you give and the love tjat you receive,” she said.

The workers were later blessed with perfomances from Tira, Mbali, Duncan and Qwabe Twins.
