LIMPOPO POLICE STRUGGLES TO CRACK “DR NEL” CASE
Limpopo Police Commissioner Lt General Thembi Hadebe is appealing to members of the community to assist in the investigation of “Dr Nel” Baitsi Molimisi’s (31) death.
This following the recent expedited direction of the investigation into a Culpable Homicide case.
“Dr Nel” lost his life on the 02 November 2025 at approximately 04:00 am on the road along Ga_ Seleka Phetogo Drive in Botshabelo Village, within the Tom Burke policing area.
According to police, they found a male face down on the roadway in a critical condition.
Preliminary information indicates that the deceased was last seen performing at the grand opening of a local pub earlier that morning.
“Dr Nel” was certified dead on the scene by the EMS
Provincial Spokesperson Colonel Malesela Ledwaba says the vehicle allegedly involved in the accident still remain unknown up to this stage and the circumstances that led to the incident remain under investigation.
Police say the case is no longer handled by the Waterberg District Detectives is currently being investigated by the Provincial Investigation Unit ( PIU) as part of efforts to intensify and expedite the investigation process.
