Third Victim Of Kempton Park R21 Women’s Murders Identified As 28-Year-Old Gracious Nkomo
The family of 28-year-old Gracious Nkomo has positively identified her as one of the women whose body was found along the R21 in Kempton Park.
Nkomo was the third woman discovered in the Kempton Park area on 10 September 2026. Her body was found partially clothed.
Her relatives identified her at the Germiston Mortuary today, Thursday.

Nkomo’s identification comes amid a series of discoveries of women’s bodies across Ekurhuleni since mid-July. Nine bodies have been found near the R21 corridor and in areas including Rhodesfield, Olifantsfontein, Clayville, KwaThema and Dawn Park.
Police have not confirmed that the deaths are linked to a single serial offender. Investigators are examining possible links between the cases while also considering the possibility that different perpetrators may be involved.
One suspect arrested following the first discovery in July remains in custody.
Other victims who have already been identified include Elizabeth “Tsontso” Moselakgomo and Itumeleng Kekana.
