Gagash and wife denied bail despite confident court appearance
TMPD officer Peter “Gagash” Nonyane and his attorney wife, Charlotte Tibana, arrived at the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court on Friday, all smiles and appearing confident they would be granted bail.
However, Magistrate Godfrey Netshiozwi denied them bail. The couple face 43 charges, including fraud, money laundering and corruption, linked to about R6 million allegedly taken from deceased estates.
They will remain in custody until 6 November.
