Siyanda Ndlovu Opens Up on Pirates Fans’ Backlash After Sundowns Move
Siyanda Ndlovu has opened up about the backlash he faced from Orlando Pirates supporters after choosing Mamelodi Sundowns over the Buccaneers.
Ndlovu was reportedly on the verge of joining Pirates and had completed his medical at Mayfair. However, the deal collapsed after he rejected the contract package, allowing Sundowns to step in and secure his signature.
Speaking on Prime Time Sport on Ukhozi FM, Ndlovu revealed that some Pirates supporters sent him harsh messages on Instagram.
“The way some Pirates fans spoke about me was not good,” he said.
“Some of them even sent me harsh messages on Instagram. But I didn’t listen to all of that because I’m a resilient person.”
Ndlovu added that fans must accept what happened because the past cannot be changed.
The attacker is now focused on making his mark at Sundowns and proving exactly why the club wanted him during this major transfer saga.
