Chiefs ‘beat’ Pirates to highly-rated Stellies star
Kaizer Chiefs have completed the signing of highly-rated attacker Faiz Abrahams from Stellenbosch FC.
This makes him the third player to arrive at Naturena from the Cape Winelands club this transfer window. The Glamour Boys had already secured the services of Thabo Moloisane and Langelihle Phili from Stellenbosch.
They have now added 21-year-old Abrahams to their ranks on a season-long loan. Abrahams had also attracted interest from Orlando Pirates, who were believed to be monitoring the talented youngster. However, the attacker has chosen to continue his career with Amakhosi instead.
Chiefs confirmed the deal on Thursday afternoon.

The move continues Chiefs’ aggressive recruitment from Stellenbosch as they strengthen Fernando Da Cruz’s squad ahead of the new season. Abrahams will now look to impress during his loan spell and earn a permanent move to Naturena.
