Senzo Meyiwa Murder Trial Postponed as Accused No. 5 Recovers From Surgery
BREAKING NEWS
JOHANNESBURG – The Senzo Meyiwa murder trial has been postponed after the court was informed that Accused No. 5, Ntuli, is recovering following an operation.
The court heard that Ntuli recently returned from hospital and requires time to recuperate after surgery. As a result of his medical condition, proceedings could not continue as scheduled.
The judge subsequently postponed the matter to Tuesday, 11 August 2026, when the trial is expected to resume.
The postponement means there was no witness testimony or cross-examination during Thursday’s proceedings.
MDNtv will continue to monitor developments and provide updates when the trial resumes next week.
