BOSA Terminates Ayanda Allie’s Membership After Disciplinary Process

Ayanda Allie

Build One South Africa (BOSA) has terminated the membership of Ayanda Allie, its sole representative in the Gauteng Provincial Legislature, following an internal disciplinary process that began in July 2025.

The decision brings an abrupt end to Allie’s time as the party’s only voice in the provincial legislature and leaves BOSA without a seat in the Gauteng Provincial Legislature.

According to the party, its board has now made the termination final after Allie chose not to appeal the outcome of the disciplinary process.

BOSA did not disclose the specific allegations or details that led to the disciplinary proceedings, citing the internal nature of the process.

In a statement, the party thanked Allie for her service, bringing to a close a chapter that had seen her represent BOSA in the provincial legislature.

The termination marks a significant political development for BOSA in Gauteng, where the party will now have no representative in the provincial legislature.

The internal disciplinary process reportedly began in July 2025, with the matter eventually reaching the party’s board for a final decision.

Allie was given an opportunity to appeal the outcome but declined to do so, according to BOSA. The party subsequently confirmed that her membership had been terminated.

The decision raises questions about the party’s political representation in Gauteng and the future of its presence in the provincial legislature.

BOSA has not publicly provided further details about the allegations against Allie or the circumstances surrounding the disciplinary process.

For now, the party has thanked its former representative for her contribution while moving forward without a seat in the Gauteng Provincial Legislature.

The development is likely to attract further political attention as BOSA assesses the impact of losing its sole provincial representative in Gauteng.
