South Korean celebrities lash out at coach want his salary confiscated following Bafana defeat!

South Korea’s defeat at the hands of Bafana Bafana in the World Cup has sparked massive outrage in that country. Celebrities have now weighed in on the heated debate, heavily criticizing head coach Hong Myung-bo.
Famous South Korean actor Han Jeong-soo stated that the coach should even be stripped of his salary due to the team’s failure to beat Bafana in such a crucial match.
“I am furious. He put together top players, but they played the worst match I have ever seen,” Han wrote on social media.
He didn’t stop there, further accusing the coach of clinging to the job for financial gain rather than passion for the work.
“He should be stripped of his salary. It looks like he is only holding onto this position for the money. This hurts more than politics. This has been the worst match in the World Cup,” the celebrity continued.
Han also criticized the team’s tactical setup, stating that the coach had absolutely no game plan to win and ended up blaming his own players.
“There was no game plan, the player selection made no sense, and he ended up blaming the players themselves. He has shown us exactly what a bad leader looks like. I don’t even want to watch football anymore.”
Famous singer Yoon Doo-joon, a member of the group Highlight, also expressed his disappointment while watching the match live on YouTube.
“I can’t believe this. Am I dreaming? There is a lot I want to say, but it’s better for me to keep quiet because I might say something I’ll regret. I have watched national team matches since I was five years old, but I have never seen it in this state,” he said.
The 1-0 defeat to Bafana Bafana has triggered a storm on South Korean social media platforms. Fans are slamming the team’s performance, arguing that it failed to utilize the strengths of its players and showed no tactical adjustments during the match.
While there are some calling for calm, the vast majority believe that losing to Bafana Bafana is a terrible humiliation for South Korea.
