Mpumalanga is set for a major gospel celebration this weekend as the Spirit of Praise All Stars prepare to perform in the province for the very first time.
The highly anticipated event will take place on 16 May and is expected to draw gospel music lovers from across the province and beyond.
Over the years, Spirit of Praise has become one of South Africa’s most influential gospel ensembles, known for producing powerful worship moments and introducing some of the country’s most celebrated gospel voices.
Audiences attending the event can expect an unforgettable evening of praise, worship, and musical excellence featuring some of South Africa’s leading gospel artists.
The star-studded lineup includes:

- Ayanda Ntanzi
- Nothando Hlophe
- Zaza Mokheti
- Dumi Mkokstad
- Winnie Mashaba
- Mpumi Mtsweni
- Omega Khunou
- Keke Phoofolo
- Takie Ndou
Speaking ahead of the event, Yethu Sonke Foundation spokesperson Mr Ofentse Riba said the gathering is about more than music.
“Spirit of Praise AllStars is aimed at gathering, celebrating, and empowering all worshippers across Mpumalanga. Beyond the music, we are committed to developing local talent and supporting young businesses that can benefit from major live musical productions,” said Riba.
“Middelburg and Mpumalanga will be united through praise, worship, and great music.”
