The US and Israel have kicked off a joint attack on Iran, and it’s got everyone on edge. President Donald Trump came out and said that “major combat operations” are officially underway, sounds intense, like something out of a movie, but this is real life.
From what we’re hearing, Israel’s Defense Minister mentioned this was a “pre-emptive” move to head off potential threats from Tehran. In response, Iran has apparently fired back with some missiles of their own. People in Tehran are seeing smoke billowing up from parts of the city, and there are reports of explosions popping off in at least five different spots across the country. It’s chaotic, and folks there must be feeling the fear.

All this comes after Washington has been turning up the heat on Iran to rework their nuclear deal. Trump even mentioned recently that he wasn’t thrilled with how the talks were going, he called out Iran’s stance as not cutting it. It’s like a pressure cooker that’s finally blown.
On top of that, getting solid info from inside Iran is tough because a lot of international reporters can’t even get in.
