Two Mozambican nationals, aged 29 and 38, were arrested in Kruger National Park after being found with an unlicensed hunting rifle and ammunition. A third suspect managed to escape and remains at large.
The arrests occurred in the Houtboschrand Ranger area following the discovery of tracks by field rangers on patrol. A regional ranger quickly deployed a K9 unit, and helicopters and tracking dogs were placed on standby.
