March and March leaders offer to hand themselves over to police amid reported arrest warrant
March and March Movement leaders have offered to hand themselves over to the police following information that arrest warrants have allegedly been issued against them in connection with the movement’s activities.
In a statement, Xolani Zuma, said they had been informed that a warrant of arrest had been issued against them and the movement’s leader, Jacinta Ngobese Zuma.
The couple said they could not confirm the authenticity of the information but indicated their willingness to cooperate with law enforcement authorities.
“We are available to hand ourselves over to the Police today,” said Zuma
The movement’s team is reportedly investigating the veracity of the information.
Meanwhile, March and March members have been urged to remain calm as the organisation continues to call for peaceful solutions to the country’s domestic problems.
The reported warrants have not yet been independently confirmed.
