Two nominations, one MDNtv family: Help us win at the North West Media Awards 2026
MDNtv has been nominated for Online Media House of the Year and Social Media Platform of the Year at the North West Media Awards 2026. Here is how you can support your nonprofit independent newsroom.
Behind every court update, live broadcast and community story are colleagues working to bring you closer to what is happening. Alongside them is an audience that watches, reads, shares and keeps coming back.
Now, MDNtv is asking that audience to help turn two nominations into two wins.
We are nominated in the Online Media House of the Year and Social Media Platform of the Year categories at the North West Media Awards 2026.
Public voting is open and closes on 31 October 2026 at 23:59. The awards ceremony is scheduled for 10 December 2026 at Sun City.
From the courtroom to your community
Our purpose is reflected in three words: People-Driven News.
Whether we are following court proceedings, covering commissions of inquiry or reporting on developments in communities, our work is about keeping you informed and connected.
We know that following a story does not end with reading its first headline. You want to know what happened next, what was said in court and which questions remain unanswered.
That is why continuing coverage matters to us. It is also why your support matters to the colleagues working on the ground and behind the cameras.
Your support is part of our story
As a nonprofit independent newsroom, we value the community that has grown around our journalism.
When you share a report, send a news tip or draw our attention to an issue in your area, you help connect our newsroom with the people it serves.
These nominations give our readers and viewers another way to stand with MDNtv.
If our reporting has helped you follow a case, understand a developing story or stay informed about your community, please consider voting for us.
