South African Media Personality Blue Mbombo Opens Case Against Businessman Thami Ndlala Following Alleged Death Threats
South African media personality Blue Mbombo has publicly declared that she is fearing for her life after allegedly being subjected to months of death threats, verbal abuse, and emotional torment by prominent businessman Thami Ndlala.
In an official press statement released on 2 October 2026, Mbombo revealed that the ongoing harassment escalated to a level where she felt compelled to speak out, noting that the situation had proven “too egregious a monster for one woman to contain.”
According to the statement, the abuse has persisted for several months. Mbombo claims that Ndlala not only targeted her directly but also hired individuals to intimidate her.
She stated that her initial decision to handle the matter discreetly and privately stemmed from a hope that the behavior would stop, but the situation instead deteriorated.
The turning point for the media personality came when explicit threats were allegedly directed toward her family. “On several occasions, he made death threats,” Mbombo stated.
“It was at that point, when he threatened the life of my child, that I felt it was enough.”
Mbombo confirmed that formal legal steps have been initiated to address the situation.
A criminal case has been officially opened against Ndlala with the South African Police Service (SAPS). Mbombo’s legal and security teams have reportedly supported the filing with substantial evidence.
Furthermore, the courts have granted an interim protection order against Ndlala to ensure the safety of Mbombo and her immediate family while the investigation proceeds.
The reality TV star and model emphasized that her decision to issue a public statement was not motivated by a desire for a public feud or to intentionally damage Ndlala’s reputation.
Instead, she described it as a necessary measure to safeguard her mental, physical, and reputational well-being, as well as to allow legal processes to take their course without interference.
“I respectfully ask the media and everyone to treat the matter with sensitivity and, above all, to respect the privacy and safety of my child and family,” Mbombo concluded in her statement.
Ndlala has not yet issued a formal public response to the allegations or the active SAPS investigation.
