Feroz Khan to give evidence behind closed doors at Madlanga Commission on 6 October
The #MadlangaCommission has directed former Crime Intelligence deputy head Feroz Khan to testify remotely and in camera on 6 October over evidence that was led behind closed doors on 7 and 9 July.
Khan has also been ordered to file his statement by midday on Saturday, 3 October.
The directive follows Khan’s failure to appear before the commission under subpoena on 28 September, prompting Chairperson Justice Mbuyiseli Madlanga to order that criminal charges be pursued against him.
The in-camera proceedings will be limited to the chairperson, commissioners, evidence leaders Advocates Adila Hassim SC and Thabang Pooe, and the legal teams.
