MTN8 Final tickets sell out after huge demand
Tickets for the highly anticipated MTN8 final between Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns have officially sold out.
The clash at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban has generated massive interest, with supporters rushing to secure their seats after sales opened at 10am on Friday.
The demand was so high that the Open Tickets platform experienced major technical problems shortly after sales began, with fans reporting long queues, server errors and failed transactions.
Despite the early chaos, supporters eventually managed to get their hands on tickets, with the PSL confirming on Friday night that the match was sold out.
The final is scheduled for Saturday, October 10, with kick-off at 6pm.
The tickets were priced at R150, with supporters limited to four tickets each.
The sell-out once again underlines the huge interest surrounding a Pirates-Sundowns showdown at Moses Mabhida Stadium.
