The Lekgutsa Mbele Foundation, in partnership with Re Phethile Art Production from Bethlehem, participated in the Provincial Youth Plenary Summit hosted by the South African Youth Council at Flamingo Park Ontspanning Sentrum in Welkom on October 5, 2025. As advocates for the voiceless, the foundation proudly delegated youth representatives to amplify the voices of young people.

The summit provided a platform for meaningful engagement, contribution, and shaping the future of the province. Lekgutsa Mbele, Youth Activist, emphasized, “We are the voice for the voiceless. We stand for what is rightfully ours and represent our sector.”

Mbele shared his passion for youth activism: “I am proud to be a youth activist, using my voice to make a difference in my community and the world… My youth is a strength, not a weakness. We are driven by passion, energy, and idealism. We are not afraid to challenge the norms and push for change.”
He continued, “As a youth activist, I will continue to speak out, organize, and advocate for the changes I want to see. I will use my voice to amplify the voices of others, to stand in solidarity with those who are marginalized and oppressed.”
By empowering the next generation, the Lekgutsa Mbele Foundation reaffirms its commitment to nurturing future leaders, underscoring the belief that young people are the leaders of tomorrow.
