Media Statement FREE STATE – The Bohlokong Detective has arrested the 37-year-old woman from Bohlokong for the alleged murder of her husband (42) after he was shot and killed in the Naledi section of Bohlokong on 1 January 2025. Apparently, on 1 January 2025 at about 20:20, the Bohlokong police were patrolling the Naledi section for crime prevention purposes when they came across the body of a man lying in the street with bullet wounds on his face. He was identified by family. The motive behind the murder is not known yet, but the case of murder is being investigated.
The suspect (37) has been charged and will appear before the Bethlehem Magistrate Court on Monday, 6 January 2025, on a charge of conspiracy to murder.
