Weirdo2265 issues 48-hour ultimatum to First Class Entertainment over ‘Phatha Phatha’ dispute
In a significant development within the local music industry, artist Weirdo2265 has released an official statement via Mahaizel Recording Studios regarding an ongoing dispute over the hit track “Phatha Phatha.”
The statement confirms that First Class Entertainment has initiated contact to resolve the conflict following a series of public disclosures by the artist.
Expressing a desire for a swift and equitable outcome, Weirdo2265 welcomed the record label’s willingness to come to the negotiating table.
However, the artist has firmly established boundaries moving forward, granting the label a strict 48-hour window to reach a full settlement. “In good faith, I have decided to give the label 48 hours to resolve this matter completely,” the statement reads.
Weirdo2265 warned that public updates and discourse would resume if transparency and professional accountability are not met within the timeframe.

During this period, I will allow them the opportunity to address the outstanding issues professionally and transparently. However, if no satisfactory resolution is reached within that timeframe, I will continue speaking publicly and providing updates until the matter is resolved,” he said.

Addressing the fallout, Weirdo2265 issued a sincere apology to impacted supporters and specifically named industry peers Okwanda, MusiholiQ, and Bongi SA.
