A warrant of arrest has been issued out for Lucky Boitumelo Molefe, who is sought by the police in connection with the murder of 30-year-old Engineer, Armard Swart. Swart, an employee at Q Tech Engineering Company based in Vereeniging, was shot while seated in his vehicle outside his workplace by two suspects who were driving a white Hyndai i20, on 17 April 2024. He sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was declared dead on scene.
An intensive investigation led by the SAPS Head Office Organised Crime team and Crime Intelligence led to the arrest of four suspects. The four accused are still detained, and their case has been postponed for trial at the Palm Ridge High Court in August 2025.
Police are still searching for Lucky Boitiumelo Molefe from Johannesburg, who has been in hiding since December 2024, and he is warned to hand himself over at the nearest police station.
