Vrede police seize dagga

FREE STATE – The Vrede police have arrested two suspects at Thembalihle near Vrede on allegations of selling dagga at certain house.

On Sunday, 16 June 2024 at about 13:00, police received community tip-off about the place where they are selling dagga. On their arrival, they found women aged found 35 and 37. Upon searching the house, they found 255 small packets wrapped up with papers containing dagga. Both suspects were arrested.

They are expected to appear before the Vrede Magistrate court on Tuesday, 18 June 2024, facing charge of dealing in dagga.
