POLOKWANE – An intelligence driven operation conducted by Provincial Visible Task team members in Mopani and Sekhukhune District on Friday 19 April 2024, led to the speedy arrest of two foreign national male suspects for dealing in dagga and illicit cigarettes in separate incidents. A 28-year-old Zimbabwean national male suspect was found in possession of dagga with the estimated street value of R3000,00 at his residence in Giyani Section F. The suspect is due to appear in Giyani Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 22 April 2024. Meanwhile, an Ethopian male suspect (37) was found in possession of illicit cigarettes and paid admission of guilt in terms of the Contravention of Tobacco Act (selling of illicit Cigarettes).
Police operations are underway.
