Villa Nora police seek information to identify a wanted man involved in a common robbery at Shongoane

POLOKWANE – Villa Nora detectives in Waterberg district are urging community to assist in identifying the man whose image was released, and it is believed that he will be able to assist police in solving common robbery case in Shongoane.

It is reported that during August 2024, two women were hitchhiking at Shongoane, to abottspoort and a man driving a white Hatchback VW Polo offered them a lift to their destination along the way he robbed them their belongings including two cellphones, an undisclosed amount of cash, bank cards and women’s accessories.

The police are appealing to anyone with information in identifying a wanted man in the common robbery to contact Detective Warrant Officer Tebele Mafokoane at 082 414 1610, crime stop number 08600 10111, nearest police station, or share information on MySAPSApp.

Police investigations are underway.
