POLOKWANE – The South African Police Service (SAPS) in Limpopo regrets to inform the public and all concerned stakeholders about the postponement of candidates scheduled to depart for training at the Police Academy tomorrow, Sunday, 21 April 2024. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the departure date has been shifted to Tuesday, 23 April 2024 and will take place at the same venue, Peter Mokaba Stadium, Polokwane. NB: No applicant falling under this category should report to Peter Mokaba tomorrow However, recruits scheduled to leave on Monday, 22 April 2024 are not affected by the changes and must still report at Peter Mokaba at the stipulated time. Upon completing the Basic Police Development Learning Programme, the newly trained Constables will reinforce policing capacity at high-crime stations, detective units and specialised unit such as Public Order Policing.
