South African Police Service NORTHERN CAPE – The police in Upington are requesting the assistance of the public in locating a missing woman, Fransiena “Dede” Tommy. Fransiena (63) was last seen on 3 May 2024 at Capitec near Shoprite in the Upington CBD with two women. They were seen doing a bank transaction together and thereafter she left with them and has not returned home since. Fransiena was wearing a red blouse, blue denim jeans with blue sneakers. Anyone with information can contact the investigating officer, Sergeant Bahedile Nkwadipo on 082 495 4615 or 054 337 3400. Alternatively, contact Crime Stop on 08600 10111 or send information via the My SAPS App.
The public is reminded that there is no waiting period to report a person missing.
