Update: Suspects remanded in custody after appearing in court for contravention of National Environmental Management Act – hunting and possession of pangolin

MPUMALANGA – Freedom Mathebula (28) and Themba Mabuyane (31), were remanded in custody by the Kabokweni Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 20 May 2024, for contravention for contravention of the National Environmental Management Act: Hunting and possession of Pangolin.

The case is postponed to Friday, 21 May 2024 for formal bail application. Accused remains in custody. Investigation continues.
