MPUMALANGA – The bodies of two males, aged 42 and 56 were sadly recovered on 20 September 2024 in Louw’s Creek outside Nelspruit following a search that was conducted since their disappearance was made known to the Police. A Police chopper and a member of the public managed to spot the two victims on 19 September 2024 however, the place could not be easily accessible hence Police motorbikes had to be called in to assist The Acting Provincial Commissioner of the SAPS in Mpumalanga, Major General (Dr) Zeph Mkhwanazi has commended members for the exceptional work done, these members include the SAPS Airwing, Diving Unit with Bikers, Crime Intelligence, Detectives, SAPS members from Louw’s Creek, with the great help from a local shepherd with his dog, which all led to the recovery of the two bodies. The team of experts in the investigation field has already been assembled to investigate the circumstances surrounding this strange incident. Part of that investigation will focus on getting some clarity on circumstances that led to their death. The General also made a clarion call to members of the public, especially the families of the two victims, to remain calm whilst allowing a space for investigators to conduct a probe to this matter.
