Update: Police seek public assistance to locate missing child

NGQELENI – The lifeless body of 22-month-old boy, Amamkele Lishushu Mpetha, of Nomcamba locality, Zinduneni A/A – Ngqeleni,  who went missing on Monday, 27 January 2024 at about 08:20 was recovered by Mthatha K9 Unit in a nearby river during a search that resumed this morning, 30 January 2025. The family positively identified the body as that of the missing boy.
