Media Statement
WELKOM – Disebo Portia Mosupa (30) was reported missing at Welkom Police Station on 15 July 2024. Upon receiving information about Disebo’s disappearance, a team comprising of police investigators, community members, and family members embarked on a thorough search, which led to a body being found at Thabong Cemeteries. The body which was buried in a used grave, was exhumed this morning by forensic investigators. One suspect, aged 37, has been arrested for murder, and investigations are continuing.
