A dentist visiting South Africa from the United Kingdom has tragically died after falling from a three-story building in Ramsgate on the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast.
Emergency services were called just after midnight following reports that a man had fallen through a window. Paramedics from KwaZulu Private Ambulance Service found the victim with severe injuries.
Advanced life support measures were immediately carried out at the scene, and the patient was rushed to hospital. However, his condition deteriorated during transport. Despite continuous resuscitation efforts, he was declared dead shortly after arrival.
Spokesperson Chris Botha confirmed the details, adding: “Despite the dedicated efforts of our emergency medical team and hospital staff, the patient was sadly declared deceased at the hospital.”
KwaZulu Private Ambulance Service expressed condolences to the man’s family, friends, and colleagues, extending their support during this time of grief.
