Two drunk male suspects aged 17 and 21 were apprehended by Vhembe District Family Violence Child Protection and Sexual Offenses Unit in connection with an alleged rape of a 14 year old girl.
According to police the victim was raped around 23:00 hours on 29th
December 2025 at Pfunanani village, in Limpopo Province.
It is believed that she was raped at a neighbor’s house while charging her cellphone.
Police say the neighbor’s male and his friend were cooking outside when the two drunken suspects entered the house and raped her.
Immediately police launched a manhunt and the suspects were captured on Saturday (03 January 2026)
They will appear before a Tshitale magistrate court on Monday ( 05 January 2025), facing a rape charge.
